What is KICRUN club?

No matter where you are or how far you run, the KICRUN Club is with you every step of the way.

We’ve teamed up with New Balance to help you run your way.

Over the next 8 weeks, run towards your goal of 3, 5, 10 21km and let’s gradually build our running confidence, together!

Whether you’re just getting started or ready to run further, join the KICRUN Club, get out there and prove to yourself that you are a runner.

When does KICRUN club start?

Enrolments for KICRUN open on the 11th of March and our 8 week KICRUN Club Kic’s off on the 18th of March.

How do I know which program is best for me?

Our 0-3km KICRUN program is best for you if you’re a beginner runner or you just want to get out in the fresh air and move your body. Laura will be guiding you through three runs each week while sharing tips to keep you motivated. You’ll focus on strengthening your mindset as you learn to control your breathing and build your fitness.

Our KICRUN 0-5km plan gradually builds your fitness with short running bursts and longer walking breaks. This is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to start their running journey again!

Ready to run further? KICRUN 5-10km is designed by our experts to build endurance, increase fitness and boost your confidence. Follow Laura’s distance-based motivational cues and get ready to run 10km straight in just 8 weeks. Made for anyone who can comfortably run 5km.

Is a half-marathon on your bucket list? We’ve got your back! If you can comfortably run 10km, get ready to push your limits with KICRUN 10-21km. Laura will guide you through a combo of time & distance-based runs and in just 8 weeks you’ll be running 21km non-stop!

How many runs per week is KICRUN?

All of our KICRUN training plans involve 3 runs per week, making it easier for you to fit in with your week! In our KICRUN programs, each of these 3 runs are different. We vary each of your runs so that your body is being loaded differently across the week. Generally, each week there is an easy run, an interval run and a long run.

What happens if I skip a day or want to change the run days I’ve set for my program?

We understand that life get’s in the way and we sometimes need to be flexible with our exercise routines and that’s okay! The program will never move without you so if you skip a day it will move onto the next available day. Want to change the days you set for your runs to appear in your planner? Too easy, open your Kic app and open your KICRUN program in the ‘You’ tab. Select the ‘overview’ tab, then scroll to your ‘workout days’. Open this and you can change what days you want your KICRUN program to appear on your planner. That being said, you can always progress to your next run whenever you wish, no matter the day.

What if I'm already halfway through a KICRUN program already?

Already doing KICRUN? No worries! Sign up for the KICRUN Club for the program you’re already enrolled in and pick up from where you’re up to once KICRUN Club starts.

What if I’m finding my run program too easy/too hard?

There may be a point in your KICRUN program that you start to find it a bit more challenging, and that’s so okay! Each week you’ll be running a little bit further and building that endurance, and with that you’ll be building that mental endurance as well! If you’re starting to fatigue, slow down your pace and focus on how you’ll feel at the end of your run.

You can also try repeating the last run that felt more comfortable and keep doing this until you’re feeling like you’re ready to progress.

Already a little bit experienced with running and looking for a challenge? You can always try skipping ahead a week or two in your program to push yourself.
