Not only does this recipe help you to increase your daily protein intake but, it is the perfect way to use up your overripe bananas.
When it comes to choosing the protein powder for this recipe, we recommend using the Keep it Cleaner WPI or Plant Based Chocolate Protein Powder (both available at Woolworths). Otherwise, any other protein powder of your choice will work too! If your choice of protein is not naturally sweet, we’d recommend adding 1 tsp of your choice of sweetener.
In all honesty, you could enjoy this mousse as a mid morning, afternoon or post dinner snack – you simply can’t go wrong! Top with fresh fruit and some cacao nibs and you’ll be all set. Our toppings of choice? We love ours with fresh raspberries and strawberries – yum!
