If you’re anything like us, you saw the word halloumi and started drooling – right?! Sooo, we thought we’d share the details on how to create this delectable dish. Not only is this recipe ready in less than 30 minutes but it’s a one pot wonder meaning you save yourself some time when it comes to the clean up – win!
Cooking notes
You'll need a ceramic dish.
Served with whatever you fancy, whether it be rice, roasted potatoes or a loaded salad, we are sure you're going to love it!
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Prepare the halloumi by slicing it into 1cm slivers, zest the lemon and then slice. Place chicken, sliced halloumi, lemon zest, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper in a ceramic dish.
Step 3
Gently nestle your lemon slices underneath the chicken and halloumi, and arrange 1/2 the garlic head sliced horizontally in the dish.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix together the oil and honey, and pour over. Use your hands to massage the dressing into the chicken and halloumi. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked.
Step 5
Serve with your preferred side.
