Feeling mid? Our mid-year challenge will fix that

The struggle is real. If your routine’s out of whack, we’ve got just the thing for you!

Introducing our 4 week challenge – it’s not about going hard, it’s about taking small, sustainable steps to feel a little less mid.

With brand new workouts from your favourite hype queens, we’ll help you switch that struggle to strength training or find your flow. And with a hint of mindfulness, let’s Kic that mid year slump together.

How does it work you ask? Well, it’s simple:

  1. Choose your favourite movement: Pilates or strength training?
  2. Then it’s time for a vibe check, because we’ve got levels to match your mood.
    • Feeling mid? Ease your way back to feeling good with 2 x beginner workouts each week. Just 5-15 minutes, any movement is a win!
    • Feeling motivated? Boost those endorphins with 3 x advanced workouts each week and juicy stretch sessions.
  3. Be kind to your mind with your weekly mindfulness practice

Looking to find your flow again?

Here’s the break down of our two Pilates challenges available:

  • Feeling mid?
    • 2 x weekly Pilates classes (beginner, 5-15 minutes)
    • 1 x mindfulness activity
    • Perfect for you if you’re craving a few flows a week to help wake up those good vibes.
    • Equipment you’ll need: mini band, dumbbells
  • Feeling motivated?
    • 1 x weekly Pilates class
    • 2 x weekly barre pilates classes (intermediate – advanced)
    • 1 x alternating mindfulness activity
    • 1 x alternating mobility activity
    • Perfect for you if you’re feeling motivated to keep up your Pilates routine with some spicy challenges thrown in!
    • Equipment you’ll need: mini band, dumbbells, pilates ball

Looking to swap that struggle for strength?

Here’s the breakdown for our two strength challenges available:

  • Feeling mid? 
    • 2 x weekly strength classes (beginner, 5-15 mins)
    • 1 x mindfulness activity
    • Perfect for you if you’re wanting to feel empowered and explore what strength training has to offer!
    • Equipment you’ll need: dumbbells, box, kettlebell, mini band
  • Feeling motivated? 
    • 3 x weekly strength classes, building in intensity over the 4 weeks
    • 1 x alternating mindfulness activity
    • 1 x alternating mobility activity
    • Perfect for you if you’re wanting to reach a new strength goal and you’re wanting to feel like a strong queen.
    • Equipment you’ll need: dumbbells, box, kettlebell, mini band

How do I enrol?

Make sure that you’ve updated your Kic app to the latest version, and open your app to see the mid-year challenge at the top of your home page! When you open this, you’ll see the four challenges. Choose your vibe, open the challenge and hit ‘join challenge’.

What happens if I miss a workout?

Missed a workout? No stress! Your challenge will never move on without you, so if you miss a day or need to take a break, your next workout will still be in app ready for you whenever you are.

What if I want to change challenges or enrol in more than one?

For the mid-year challenge, you can only enrol in one challenge at a time. Started a challenge and want to swap? No worries! Simply head to your ‘Activity’ page, click on your challenge and select the three dots on the top right. Then, select ‘End challenge’. Go back to your home screen and select the new challenge you want to enrol in.

When do enrolments end?

Make sure you’re enrolled to the challenge in app, ready to start on the 24th of June.
