Meet Tori, our newest strength trainer

Get ready, Kic Squad – we’ve got some exciting news! Meet Tori, our brand-new trainer who’s here to help you discover your inner strength and OWN the gym.

We sat down with Tori for a Q&A sesh, so you can get to know the powerhouse behind our latest gym challenge. Spoiler alert – she’s relatable, inspiring and absolutely driven to help you feel confident and capable in the gym.

Tell us about yourself, Tori!

Hi, I’m Tori (you might know me better as @torisstory on IG)! I’m a personal trainer, a gymnast at heart, and an absolute fanatic when it comes to strength training. But more importantly, I’m passionate about empowering women to feel strong, confident, and totally in control in the gym.

When I’m not lifting weights or creating new workout programs, you can usually find me hanging out with my dog or experimenting with yummy recipes in the kitchen. Coffee lovers, hit me up for new brew ideas too!

Where did your story with gym training begin?

Believe it or not, my love for fitness started when I was about eight years old. My mum was a personal trainer, and I practically grew up in gyms, surrounded by such a strong and inspiring environment.

Gymnastics was a massive part of my life, and it taught me so much about discipline, resilience, and the pure joy of movement. Eventually, I transitioned to strength training, and that’s when I really found my groove. There’s something so empowering about lifting weights and discovering just how strong you can be. What started with me has now grown into a mission to empower women all over the world to feel their strongest selves.

What’s one wellness myth you’d love to bust?

Oh, there are so many myths I’d love to tackle, but the one that really grinds my gears is “training more equals better results.”

Honestly, it’s just NOT true. Sometimes, less is more. Recovery and rest are just as important as the time you spend training. Overtraining can lead to burnout, injuries, and even a plateau in progress. My approach to fitness prioritises balance! This means listening to your body, taking rest days when you need them, and focusing on quality over quantity.

Fitness doesn’t have to be overly complicated. Progress happens when you take a sustainable, mindful approach.

What makes your program different?

It’s simple, approachable, and empowering.

I’m all about focusing on the basics because that’s where real confidence is built. My program is designed to help you master foundational movements and track your progress week by week. It’s structured so that you can choose how many days a week you want to train (two, three, or four) and repeat the same workouts each week to really see and feel your growth.

But most importantly, my program is about making the gym feel like a place where you belong. Every session is meant to challenge but not overwhelm. You’ll leave each workout feeling stronger, more accomplished, and proud of what your body can do.
